Stories of Hope: YANI

My name is Yani. I am now 41 years old. I have 2 sons. My older son is 13 years old and still in junior high school. My second son is 6 years old - almost in 1st grade.

I got married in 2009. My husband works at PLN but often works out of town.

I have always worked in a factory near my house in the sewing department. Even though the work at the factory was hard, I did it all. Sometimes I could not go home until late at night, because when I work, I have to work overtime. So, I often don't get along with my children and husband.

But working in a factory is like that, you have to follow the rules of company policy. To get what I needed, I stayed at that job. If you are able to work close to your family, you can take care of your children and spend a lot of time with your family. When I sew FAVE bags, I can do the sewing at home, so I can take care of family and children, and my heart feels calm and comfortable. I am very grateful to be able to sew FAVE bags, because not only am I earning income, but I also feel safe. Compared to working in a factory, working at home is more relaxing. If you are in a factory you have to have a strong mentality, because not only are there lots of friends, but also there are lots of bosses, and usually not everyone likes that. You really have to be mentally strong to face the various kinds of pressure at the factory.

I hope that many FAVE bags can be sold, so that I can work at home, with a safe, comfortable, and relaxed heart, and I can earn income from sewing them.

Thank You
